I have been active all my life and have always participtated in high impact, high adrenalin hobbies. In my younger adulthood I used to spend many hours in the gym and ran many miles. However, as a middle-aged family man my time constraints are very tight, not to mention that I don't have the endurance I used to have twenty years ago. Now that I work a desk job during the week I have to stay active and physically fit in order to be a Maine Whitewater Guide on the weekends during the Summer months. I manage to stay in great shape by doing the "Turbo Fit" workout and 15 minutes of cardiovascular exercise only three days a week. Not only do I manage to keep my weight down, but I find that I build muscle strength, definition, and endurance which I need on the river to help me avoid injury and to enjoy myself. I've been a member of many gyms over the years and none have kept me in as good overall shape, with minimal effort, as Mickey T's!
